Tropical, hot year-round (roughly 28-31C). Thanks to the trade winds, the difference between the dry and wet seasons is small.
As a remote location, medical care is limited and shopping on the island is nearly impossible. Bringing US cash (small bills) is essential (many shops do not take cards). In bad weather, guides select flats according to wind, sun, and tide.
