From Denpasar Airport (DPS), you first travel by car to Sanur Port (about 1 to 1.5 hours), then take a fast boat for about 30 minutes. The boat arrives at Lembongan's Jungut Batu port or Mushroom Bay.

GT/Trolling/Pelagic（Nusa Penida）
For GT (giant trevally), Nusa Penida is Bali's premier spot, and April to June, just after the rainy season ends, brings high activity from baitfish migrations and calm sea conditions, making it a prime time. GT are also very active in September. For tuna, mackerel tuna (kawakawa type) is around June, while yellowfin is worth targeting around FADs from August to November. The best overall season is July to November, when pelagic migratory fish increase and sea conditions settle.

Close to mainland Bali, Nusa Penida and Lembongan are known for topwater GT thanks to strong currents and dropoffs. The main spots are the outer reef at Crystal Bay, Manta Point, and the Toyapakeh channel, where fish run 10-40 kg and sometimes top 50 kg. The Apr-Jun window after the wet season lines up with the baitfish runs and the sea tends to lie calm. Fishing from traditional jukung outriggers is also possible.

A warm tropical climate year-round, with daytime temperatures around 29 to 31 degrees C. As on the Bali mainland, the dry season is April to October and the rainy season November to March (January being the wettest). The dry season is best suited for fishing and ocean activities.
