Majuro Atoll has a two-tier layout, bonefish and permit on the inner lagoon flats and big GT along the outer reef edge. In the blue water offshore, yellowfin tuna, wahoo, and marlin are the main trolling targets, so you can choose from a lagoon skiff to an offshore sportfisher depending on the method.

Tropical climate with temperatures nearly constant at around 27C year-round. The rainy season is roughly May-Nov, with rainfall peaking Jul-Oct (October the wettest). In the dry season, Dec-Apr, rainfall and humidity drop and the sea is calmer, with March the driest.
Squally rain often passes in a short time. In rough weather or swell, switch to bottom fishing in the lagoon, fishing inside the reef, or snorkeling/diving. Choosing the dry season (Dec-Apr) is more stable.
