Trolling produces blue marlin around 180kg, sailfish, and yellowfin pushing 80kg. Jigging turns up dogtooth that pull like freight trains. Koror has a tropical maritime climate near the equator, hot and humid year-round. Highs of about 30-31C and lows of about 26C stay nearly constant. Rainfall peaks around July and is lowest around March. Direct typhoon hits are rare.
During the rainy season (Jul-Oct) or in squalls and strong winds, the open sea gets rough, causing cancellations or restricted spots. You can switch to calm fishing in the Rock Islands' inner bays, diving/snorkeling, or sightseeing such as Jellyfish Lake.
