The international gateway is Honiara International Airport (HIR). From Honiara, Solomon Airlines flies to Munda Airport (MUA) in about 1 hr 20 min (5–7 flights a week). There are also flights from Gizo and Seghe. From Munda Airport, it's a 20–30 minute boat ride to Lola Island in Vonavona Lagoon.

How to fish here

Zipolo Habu Resort sits on Lola Island in the Vonavona Lagoon, about 30 minutes by boat from Munda. In the lagoon, use fly and ultralight for trevally and bonefish, and on the outer reefs cast poppers for GT. The FADs off Vonavona, New Georgia, and Rendova hold mahimahi over 50 kg and yellowfin, worked with light-to-medium trolling.
