From CGK, take a car/Grab to the departure point, then a boat. From Ancol it's about 60–90 min by speedboat or up to about 3 hours by wooden boat. From Tanjung Pasir, the nearest island (Untung Jawa) is about 20 min. Boats typically leave around 6 a.m.

How to fish here

The Kepulauan Seribu off Jakarta is best Oct-Apr, with April still a good time. The waters around Tidung Island are known for kakap merah (red snapper), with grouper and barracuda mixing in. The islands split between bottom-fishing spots anchored on the reefs and trolling-oriented spots for pelagics like Spanish mackerel and GT, a close-to-town fishery reachable on a day trip or overnight from the city.
