GT/sailfish/Tuna/Barramundi
The best fishing season is roughly from mid-February to October, and especially during the southwest monsoon period from May to October the sea is calm and the fish are highly active. Tours run daily from February to October. Target fish include sailfish, yellowfin (tuna), wahoo, dorado, GT (giant trevally), barracuda, king mackerel and more. Note that Pigeon Island is a marine protected area where fishing is prohibited, so it is used as a base for fishing tours.
